The Content Discovery team is the central interface between our data systems and the digital products of the 71st Entertainment Group. With the deep knowledge and understanding of customer requirements and the analytical ability of our experts, we adapt our products to the customers better and better.

What you can expect in this role

  • You develop and implement software components and algorithms for personalized and non-personalized user recommendation systems
  • Contribute your experience and knowledge of design
  • With your expertise we take our products to a new level, tailor them to the user needs and create a great user experience journey
  • You continuously enhance existing software solutions and set direction for the technology stack of the next years
  • Be part of the team developing internal and public projects and shape our vision of a modern engineering culture
  • Also, you support frontend and application developers with your knowledge to connect their products to Reco APIs and AI systems

Your essential experience and education

  • Ideally, you graduated in informatics or got a similar educational background
  • You gained experience with recommender systems and know how to design algorithms for those
  • Also, you are experienced in machine learning and have first experience with AWS Sagemaker or AWS Personalize
  • You are fluent in Python and skilled in writing JavaScript code (server side) with Node.JS and set high standards on clean code
  • You have experience with RESTful APIs, Linux/Unix environment in an Autoscaled Cluster Environment (AWS)
  • Ideally, you have first experience with MongoDB database and high and peak load challenges
