The Interactive Media Group (IMG) is at the center of audio, video and graphics support in Apples innovative products, including the HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch and Apple TV. IMGs Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Spatial Audio, Siri, FaceTime and media capture and playback. As part of the accessories team, your focus would be on Beats audio products and the entire AirPods line, including AirPods Pro and AirPods Max.As a member of the DSPLib Algorithm team you will be making significant improvements to a library that is shipping on all our devices with an install base in excess of 2.5 Billion devices.To raise the bar on quality you will be launching a new initiative to consolidate unit testing across our AudioUnits by designing and implementing a new Audio Unit testing strategy / test rig.You will help take us to the next level of quality in terms of lowering the bug count, optimizing CPU and memory performance of our algorithms.Alongside the test development, you will be helping with the design of the DspLib library by adding your own contributions and ideas to things like- how to best structure the library- optimize it for efficiency (CPU, mem, developer resources, code safety, portability, etc.)A huge part of DspLib is a class collection of GUI elements which are written in objective c. Ideally youd also be contributing in extending, testing and organizing the GUI library.You will be working collaboratively with tuners, integrators and ATP specialists.
