Our team is seeking a hard working, focused developer to play a crucial role moving development forward as we modernize our SQL Server databases. As a member of our Software Engineering team, you will be working development efforts necessary to migrate our application to the new Colorado data centers. The successful candidate will be involved in SQL Server development efforts that will require a strong knowledge of SQL Server, T-SQL, and SSRS. The developer for this role should be able to analyze T-SQL code, and convert it into Stored Procedures that will be used to populate our data marts.

We are seeking an associate developer who is able to use best coding practices to build database solutions to scale. The data center entry criteria will challenge the successful candidate to implement creative solutions that leverage automation, and entirely move away from manual processes.

The successful candidate will have 4+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server technologies including T-SQL development, SSIS packages, and SSRS reports. The candidate will be able to demonstrate examples of best practices that allows for code reusability, and designing solutions that can be built to scale.

In addition, the successful candidate should Intermediate or better experience with Reporting technologies such as SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) and Tableau. The developer should be able to leverage the data created in our Data Marts, and use it to create interactive Tableau and SSRS reports to be consumed by our business partners. A combination of experience with both Tableau and SSRS would be ideal as we move away from SSRS, and towards Tableau as our primary reporting tool.

Powershell experiecne would be beneficial for this role. We utilize Powershell for automated deployments, and we are looking to expand on and add new functionalities to these deployments. Finally, experience with the Control-M scheduler would be beneficial, as this our primary scheduling tool we utilize for automating data loads.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: * T-SQL Development * S QL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) report development * S QL Server Integration Services (SSIS) package development * Tableau Reporting * Source Control Software - GitBash OR SourceTree * Control M Scheduling (preferred) * PowerShell development (nice to have) * Automated (database) Testing solutions (nice to have) * C# .NET / Object Oriented development (nice to have) * Familiarity with JPMC-specific technology tools such as AIM, BluePrint, AppFit etc. (nice to have) * BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
