DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Participate in design reviews and provide input to design. Incorporate security requirements into design and comply with Project Life Cycle Methodology in all phases. Translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop and enhance software application modules. Facilitate resolution and communication of cross-application and organization architectural issues and decisions. Develop high quality applications per technical specification. Facilitate code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architecture. Identify and troubleshoot application code-related issues, review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation. Participate in end-to-end delivery of application. Manage Build and Unit testing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Developer, IT Consultant/Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following skills: Progress version 9.1x; Open Edge 10.x to 11.6 (CHUI) on Linux and AIX; Implementation of REST and SOAP services using Pacific Application Server; Progress OpenEdge; CGI Wrapper Web object; HTML Mapped Web Object; Embedded Javascript; AJAX; CSS; Speed Script; HTML files; Debugger; ProMON; ProTOP; Scripting using UNIX and LINUX commands; Openedge Fathom; Progress Explorer; ProUnit; JIRA; and Object Oriented Lifecycle and Application Frameworks.
